Default My 360 is a mess...

Okay, first my Xbox started getting the "Open Tray" error. It wasn't bad at first, but it got so bad that it wouldn't even read a disc. I got up for a few minutes to check what could be wrong with it on the Internet, and when I came back, the screen was all pink and distorted. Immediately, I shut it off.

I tried to power it back on again, and nothing. Plugged it in with AV cables rather than HDMI, and there was sound, but no video. Tried multiple cables, nothing got video.

    Help?

    One good rule of thumb...
Don't ever put it on it's side. Stand it up with the hard drive on top.
I've heard about a lot of problems with keeping it flat.

Mind elaborating on this? This is the first time I've heard of such a thing.

If anything keeping it flat is best since when it's upright, all it takes is a little nudge and voila you scratched the disc.

I've never had a problem with mine and it's always been laid flat.

Mine would only work IF it was on its side. Any ideas on what could be wrong?

Couldn't help ya on that one. Some people say it's best to stand the 360 up, some say to lay it down flat. Either way you're gonna get screwed eventually.
