Sigh... not this again.
You'd have an argument, if people ONLY collect sealed. However, if you have a cart copy and a sealed copy of your favorite game, then what's it matter? You can play it and you can appreciate it like a work of art.
FYI, I'm very anti-VGA as well, though I do have some sealed games.
WTB Clayfighter Sculptor's Cut Manual Only... PM ME!!
I like to play all of my games, so I'm not really into sealed ones, but different strokes I guess.
Not really even then, since it's really up to people what they like and appreciate. I don't really care if people only collect sealed titles, it's their business. You'd have an argument, if people ONLY collect sealed. Here we go again....
The whole idea of having games slabbed seems like some kind of psychological problem to me... like people who constantly use Purell because they're so afraid of germs.

We've discussed this a few times here, and my opinion on slabbing games is still the same -- it's not for me, but if somebody wants to do this to their games, more power to them. However, if for some reason I ever plan to start collecting sealed games (admittedly not very likely), don't expect me to pay a premium because some third party was paid to slap a plastic shell around it.
As for the few sealed games I own (approximately half a dozen), I have loose copies of each of them. A game imprisoned inside shrinkwrap isn't very fun to play.

While I agree that grading and slabbing is a waste of money, I do collect sealed games and I play lots of games too. This topic has been done to death and I can't help but think you are a huge hypocrite considering in another thread you said your holy grail, which you own, is a sealed SNES. Aren't systems meant to be played as well?
We're not doing this again.
I'll find the most recent threads that just undertook this very opinionated subject and post the links in here. Discussions can be continued there.
