Pretty neat...that takes me back a few years, to the days when Toys R Us would have you bring tickets to the counter to get the games you wanted.

They still do at every Toys 'R' Us I frequent. There are loose games in the aisle too, but there are still SKU tickets for most games that aren't discounted, or on clearance.

yeah the one by me does tickets too. Its pretty funny.

That sign rules. They really don't make em like that anymore. Now all you get are dumbass looking cardboard ones that hang from the ceiling.

Jeez, those signs seem overpriced to me, too. But I'm not one who collects large displays, so I'm not really sure how in demand those things actually are. The World of Nintendo one is pretty cool though.

We had an NES fiber optic sign when I worked at Kaybee. My wife had one in her store too, and she had to take hers down in 1995 after the Playstation came out. She asked me if I wanted it, and I said no, because I am an idiot. It went in the trash.

More like that Game Boy sign in the OP. We need more sparkly fiber optic signs.
RIP bargora, you will be greatly missed. That is how we do things on Giedion Prime.

I think a pretty large part of the hoopla with signs/posters/standees and other promotional items is that they're officially licensed and distributed by the actual game companies. I think people like the idea that can own a part of gaming history.

With that said, it's pretty cool that you're on the position to produce similar signs yourself.
