My Megadrive II cable isnt very stable so I was thinking of ordering a gold one. I'm just not completely sure if the Genesis II ones are compatible with the Mega Drive II, can anyone confirm this??

genesis II cables will work fine with a megadrive II and vice versa

Just some gameplay through a Dazzle device. I've just been wanting to record a co-op speedrun of Contra Hard Corps we've been working on and with my current cable, the connection just isnt stable. The screen goes grey or all black and the sound disappears, so thats why I need a new cable. Its not the MegaDrive itself, the RF unit that came with it doesnt give any of these problems.
