    Default NES help?

    Hi,
So last week I replaced the 72 pin connector in my NES. However, alot of times, a game will still bring up an orange or blue screen. I cleaned my games. Anyone know how to fix this?

I'm not really an expert on NES but I've heard that disabling the lockout chip can stop the blinking problem. Plus you can buy PAL imports

Yes you may want to consider giving that damn ten chip the death sentence. This page may help you out learn how to do this. Most likely it's worth the effort, it's a permanent fix. I haven't heard of anyone who didn't have this solve their problems (well, unless of course they did something wrong.)
