My understanding is that it's a 4-minute rolling demo of the built-in software.

Thanks for the info guys! So is this thing rare? Before last week, I had never even heard of it.

I don't know the exact rarity, but I've only ever come across just one of them. I payed 40.00 loose for it about 6 or 7 years ago.

It's just bizarre to me that they would sell a demo cartridge in package at retail. I can imagine bundling it with display units, but putting it in a blister pack would pretty much mean it was for sale. Weird.

They were sold, and actually is not totally rare or too expensive. Compared to more common systems and games, what you have is definately uncommon. You can buy them from atari2600.com for $44.95

    For $12.00....you scored!

Thanks for the info. I just picked up another one for $12 (last one apparently). I was holding out until I found out more.

Still have these two, and have not seen any others since. Might sell one of them but don't know the value of a sealed one.

Atari2600.com still has tons in stock at $45, so you'll probably want to go lower than that. I've seen a few on Ebay sell in the $25-$30 range sealed.
