Default SMS Games: Should I buy?

At my local Value Village there area bunch of Master System games. All of them have the box and only one or two do not have manuals.

There are some common games like R-type, Afterburner, and a two game combo cart whose name escapes me at the moment, but there's also some harder to find games like SpellCaster and Joe Montana Football. VV is selling them in bundles of two for $10 each.

I don't know if blue tags will be half off tomorrow but I don't think the games will be there longer than a day or two regardless.

What do you think? Should I take a chance?

At $5 a piece if they are in good shape that isn't terrible, some of the most common/undesirable titles can be had a bit cheaper on ebay with patience (and provided you find a seller with a decent combined rate and low NR auctions) but if there are some good titles in there it could all average out pretty well. This is assuming you don't want to resell them, you probably wouldn't make much (if anything).

R-Type and SpellCaster are definitely worth $5.

That combo cart is probably Hang-On/Safari Hunt. If so, it's one of the most common SMS games out there. There's another Hang-On combo cart out there as well, with Astro Warrior instead of Safari Hunt, and that one's a little less common, but it's still an R1.
