Back in high school I let someone borrow this device, it was like an action replay but it also allowed you to play gameboy games... it was for Playstation

I think it's probably the Gold Finger 2in1, or possibly the Gamebooster, or the Super GB Booster.

I had one of those too. Does anyone know a trustworthy place to buy one? I've found a couple of sites that have them but they don't look like a place I'd wanna give money to.

Is this the one that plugs into the back of the serial port on the playstation like the original PS1 gamesharks did? The Super GB Booster sounds familiar too.

I'm a collector, but only to a certain extent.
Not as extreme as Rickstilwell though.[/quote]

That's exactly it. I recently picked up a PS1 with the serial port and I was trying to find this.

    Someone on RacketBoy linked this:

Not sure how reliable it is, but this seems to be what you're looking for.

Thanks for posting this. I bought one because they are so cheap and quite obscure. There are still some left if anyone else wants them. This should be an interesting new way to play black & white Game Boy games.

That's pretty cool. I didn't know something like this existed. Seems cheap, I may grab one too.

Does anyone know if there is a generic 'wideboy 64' type unit to play gameboy games on the N64?
