Default SNES games made in Japan AND Mexico?

I have copies of Demon's Crest and Super Smash TV for the SNES. On both of the cartridges, the front label says "Made in Japan", and the back label says "Made in Mexico". Is this normal? Does anyone else have games like this?

Both the front and back of my Super Smash TV say "Made in Japan"....BUT my Final Fight has a "Made in Japan" on the front label with a "Made in Mexico" on the back label. Years ago I stepped on my Final Fight and cracked the back half of the case so I switched it out with the back of a SNES Madden game of mine I didn't want, thus accounting for the "Made in Mexico" on the back. Perhaps someone did something similar with your two games, are you the original owner?

Maybe the labels were printed in japan and the carts made in Mexico?

You should open them and see what it says on the PCB just for fun.

    To clarify...
At one point, cartridges were made in Japan ("Made In Japan"). NOA outsourced cartridge manufacturing to Mexico at some point ("Made In Mexico", "M/SNS" part # prefix). Majesco later purchased the rights to publish SNES & Genesis games and packaged the PCBs in their own carts ("Assembled in Mexico", no "M/SNS" part # prefix).

To answer your question: I don't believe that's normal a different backing.

Probably just a swapped back side, I've done this with plenty of SNES games since so many of them have the yellowing on the back sides of the carts.

I bought both of them used, so I guess it's possible that the previous owners switched the back sides with other games.
