    Default Sega Master System

Hey guys, I've got a master system and I pulled it out the other day to play Wanted. For some reason, the light phaser does not work on Wanted (it has previously) but it works fine for Safari Hunt. What gives? When I pull the trigger the screen flashes but I do not hit anything. It is a regular CRT screen not LCD.

A number of things. The sensor could've gone bad, or the lens could be too dirty for light to pass through. How long has it been since you last used it?

Well as I said it works fine for Safari Hunt, i.e. I played it just a couple days ago when I tried Wanted.

I would try cleaning your Wanted cart. That may fix it. Just a guess.

Also, you may wanna check the port it's being plugged into. Bent prongs could also be the problem.

Or the game may expect the light gun in a different joystick port.

You can also try turning up the brightness a bit on your TV.

Or simply blow on the controller ports.
