I have a few of the official nintendo sticker albums that those stickers go in. Brand new, couldn't seem to sell them for more then $15 each at the time.
Don't know if that's any help to you or not.
Sure, it's not 1991 NOW. But later? Who knows?!
That's kind of sad. I was hoping I had something of value for once. I'm still pissed about all the lame baseball cards my mother bought me as a kid. They're 20+ years old, but they were so overprinted in the time period you can't give them away. I have mixed feelings about the whole collecting scene anyway, but it would've been nice to profit from them instead of feeling like burning them.
Dude if you want something profitable, get a job and get money that way. Your toys from your childhood were meant to bring you enjoyment instead of profiting. Getting savings bonds as a child is more profitable, but I doubt that would have been much fun for you at the time.
Life is like a hurricane...
That's exactly why I dislike card collectors, etc. Like I said, I see it from both sides. There's no reason for stupidly limited items. If it sells, keep making it until it doesn't. There are gaming items that get rare though and end up worth something. Goddamn codebreakers are expensive now cause they quit making them. I always wanted a PS1 CB cause I heard they actually work for PS1 cheating on PS2, unlike the useless sharks. I've got a sealed v10 codebreaker PS2 I bought as a spare when I realized these odd items get rare more than games themselves. I had a PAR3 for SNES at one time. I hear those are pretty rare too. I gave it to a friend, but I kept the code book. Hell, look what people want for brand new N64s, but there should be tons of those. I wish Amazon would come up with a pallet of them like they did with Dreamcasts last year. heheheh
Over $300 for that calendar? bwaahahahahaha
That must have been a stating bid. Those sell for $20-40 or so.
Ha, I had that calendar when I was a kid. That is one seriously messed up looking Samus though.
