Default Removing old tape from a Label

    Hey all.
Got an Snes game today and there is a old piece of scotch tape covering the top half of the label. It's on there pretty good. Tried using my nails to peel it off but it doesn't' give much. Looks as though it would do more damage to the label itself trying to get it off this way.

Anything I can use to remove it without messing up the label?

    Thanks

Id say you are in bad shape, the only thing I can think of is to maybe get the tape warm and it might come off easier.

Read through this thread, because someone got an even more pesky sticker off of a label with a hair dryer.

I've had good luck using a hairdryer, goo-gone, and zen-like patience to remove labels and tape. My adventures of Lolo 2 cart was owned by at least two rental shops before me and was covered in stickers, and looks pretty decent now.

Just be careful with goo gone, if you get it near the edge of the game label it can the label to start lifting/de-laminating.
