    Default Is this legit?

Something about this auction has my retro alarm bells ringing. I owned the Super Famicom from the year of its release and of every new Japanese game I got, absolutely none of them were sealed. I got Super Mario Kart and it wasn't 'sealed'. Am I jumping to conclusions here?

    Here is the eBay listing.

Your memory is correct. Super Famicom games were never sealed in plastic, at least not at the factory. Some retailers shrinkwrapped them or put them in plastic bags and taped them shut, but there was never any factory wrapping on Super Famicom games.

what we have here is a classic case of dickbag with a shrinkwrap machine.

its very rare to find those games sealed since they werent sealed!

If stores were sealing games sometmes, I doubt this guy managed to get his hands on them. I call shenanigans

Agreed, every time I see a scam auction like this it pisses me off.
