Aww, come on man, just tell us what it does, or a precedent might be set for everyone to say that.

Enemies, when touched, give you the last powerup you received. Grab a mushroom, every enemy you touch will be a mushroom powerup. Flower? Same deal. 1UP? Yup.

    Fun little code.

    Stupidity aside:

contra :apzlgk completely randomizes what appears on any level, makes some bizzare gameplay.

Only one that I still remember offhand...

    Final Fantasy
OOTPOV- Get 32767 EXP after each battle

There's some good ones that I've used but can't remember for the life of me. When I played through Mega Man X3, I was young and had to cheat in games, but I only had the PC version and it was difficult to memory-hack. Instead, I emulated the SNES version and used about a dozen GG codes. I used enough codes to significantly alter the gameplay, giving X super jumping and entirely replacing the X-Buster with Zero's saber. It played like X4. :P

    SNES Clay Fighter
6280-DD6F Enable Blob's bomb move (B, DB, D, DF, F, punch) - The move is lame, and damages Blob as well as the enemy, but if you can win with it, you can get some lulz.

SFC Benkei Gaiden: Suna no Shou (AR code, not GG)
7E108A50 Maxes out the level of the first party member. I like this code because there's a bug in the game so that if you choose a male main character, the game will crash when he hits lv. 77 (max level for him is 80). So this code makes power levelling okay (even if not strictly necessary).

    SNES - Mega Man X3

    6DAE-AF64
    EFAE-AFA4
    DDA3-AF04

2 of those codes let you call in Zero anytime, one is to let you call in zero even if you die with him during gameplay. if you ever want to play Mega Man x3 nearly completely as Zero on a standard SNES/Game Genie combo these are the codes you want.

I don't believe you CAN play X3 with GG on a real SNES. It uses the extra cart pins on the sides of the main PCB, which don't connect to anything but plastic slots on the GG.

Did Galoob ever release a SNES Game Genie with extra pin connectors?

Believe me, yes you can, Mega Man X2, and Mega Man X3 both work with a real Game Genie on a real SNES. I do it all the time.

No. A Game Genie 2 was almost finished and ready for production but was too late in the SNES lifespan to be released. There's an article on it with pictures over at thegshi (a cheat code site)

I shot this video using the codes I posted on a real SNES/Game Genie combo, you can tell from the black bar on the left side and the poor quality, it was shot with a cheap capture card, and not on an emulator.

No, I mean open up your GG with a screwdriver and take a picture of the board.

I would but I'm too afraid I will break it, but it just seems to be your ordinary Game Genie nothing special about it, it's the model that adds the dashes after you type the line of code out. I have two SNES Game Genies, and on the outside they both look identical and both only have open spaces where the extra pins would be. also I thought it was common knowledge that Mega Man X2 and Mega Man X3 worked with them even with their chips. the only reason I added the part about it being able to be done on a Game Genie is because there is a PAR code to allow you to play as Zero without having to call him which is incompatible with the Game Genie

I just tried this, and now my SNES won't power on anymore. Great, and the Retro Duo is over at my friend's house...
