    Default gameboy color

I have a few gbc that have broken speakers, i have replaced them with good ones, but the speakers are way smaller, about the size of a penny, opposed to the original speaker that is about a quarter.

It works fine but is low. How can i amplify it? can i just steal power from the headphone jack or straight from the volume pot?

To amplify sound you need an amplifier, you don't just add more power. Audio circuits are typically designed with a specific speaker in mind so your best bet would bet would be replace the speakers with the correct size.
