Pac-Man was pretty family friendly from day 1. I do agree with you that Pac-Man could be "hardcore" but at the same time, it was as "casual" as they come.

The game didn't bother me, but if that's a real cartoon show, then R.I.P. Pac-Man.

Your logic is faulty. I'm not too savvy on the history of Pac-Man, but if you think them redesigning the characters is bad, then having human characters in Pac Man Fever is complete blasphemy. They've re-imaged Pac-Man more than just a few times and from what I understand, all of the games were shitty. I mean seriously, haven't you ever played Pac In Time? Absolutely horrible. Last Pac-Man game I remember playing and enjoying was Adventures of Pac-Man 2 on SNES, game wasn't anything to write home about either.

Also, as others have pointed out, since when wasn't Pac-Man family friendly? Oh that's right, I forgot about that game where he picked up hookers and then killed them for their drugs.

The last Pac-Family game that I really, REALLY enjoyed was Ms. Pac-Man Maze Madness on the Dreamcast. I played it on and off for years, and just last winter, I finally sat down and completed the whole frikking thing. It was a blast and had great replay value - my kids still love to play it.

I once knew a girl whose laugh sounded like when Pac-Man dies.

I actually kinda like that. It's an amusing deconstruction. "I have to WHAT?" "To defeat the ghosts you must eat them!"

So am I the only person who enjoyed that trailer? I admit, I'm a diehard Pac-aholic though.

I never knew they did a video for that song... looks like they need to make a game out of the Frankie Goes to Hollywood sequences... Relax, Don't Do It: The Gayme!

I saw that and thought "Network Decay AND Character Decay?"

I'm putting down $50 that this will appear on Nickelodeon.

It's probably gonna be on Nickelodeon or the 4Kids/Fox lineup on Saturday mornings. 4kids already molested other franchise- like bringing Kirby Of the Stars over to America and then raping it with bad dubbing.
