You need to make sure your Wii has the correct DNS settings.

still nonthing :/ I have been haring that if so many people are trying to update the server gets over used and you can't update. Could that be true?

I'd ring/e-mail (expect a long wait for a reply if the latter) Nintendo with the error code. They're usually quite good at sorting that sort stuff out.

That's a pretty epic website. Need to bookmark that one for later.

To the OP ... have you tried resetting your home network?

Unplug your modem and router for a good minute or so to ensure your DNS gets properly refreshed with your ISP.

Then, as Nintendo suggests, if you're using WiFi set your wireless broadcast to channel 1 or 11 (I've had great luck with Nintendo devices and channel 1).

Also, you may want to fore go the WiFi completely in favor of a wired ethernet connection ... you can find the adapters for around $15 or so and in most cases they improve the Wii connection a few clicks.
