Default California Extreme 2010 Arcade & Pinball expo

California Extreme is the "Classic Arcade Games Show". It's an annual celebration of coin operated pinball machines, video games and other novelties you once found in game arcades. All games on display are set for free play, so leave your quarters in the ash tray in your car. You won't need 'em.

    July 17-18, 2010

    Hyatt Regency Santa Clara

    Hours:
    Saturday 11:00 am - 2:00 am
    Sunday 11:00 am - 9:00 pm
Get in 1/2 hour earlier by pre-registering!

Here is the latest news for the upcoming California Extreme Arcade and Pinball show to be held at the Hyatt Regency Santa Clara on July 17-18, 2010.

    T-Shirts

The final designs for the t-shirts to be sold at the show have been posted in the forum (click here). While these will be the ones for sale at the show, we realize some of you may want to have the design on the other side or reverse the sides or only print on one side. If you have a special request, you may send us an e-mail to info@caextreme.org to request one. Please note the following:

    · Make sure to be specific in your request and include the size (and color if ordering a BOP version) of the t-shirt wanted and exactly how you want the graphics to appear.

    · Please place an order only if you intend to pay for it and pick it up at the show (you can pay for it at the show or through pre-registration).

    · We reserve the right to refuse a request.

    · You must send the request by Monday, July 12 at 9:00 am PST in order to be included.

Questions? E-mail us and we can answer them.

    Speakers

California Extreme will have a full schedule of speakers and features on both pinball and video topics. While the schedule is being finalized, the following are scheduled to speak this year:

    · Doug Macrae – talk on the creation of Ms. PacMan and other inspired genius at the General Computer Corp.

    · Paul Mandeltort - “LED’s for Your Pinball Machine: Almost Everything You Need to Know”

    · Screening of the movie “Joysticks” with director Greydon Clark and actor Jim Greenleaf (Jonathan Andrew McDorfus)

    · Matt Walsh – “I Was a Teenage Pinball Designer – Trials and Triumphs of a Would-be Williams Pinball Designer”

    · Mark Alpiger, Hector Rodriguez, and Mark Robichek – “Video Tips and Tricks”

    · Keith Elwin, Bowen Kerins and Andrei Massenkoff – “How to Play Pinball”

    · Richard Tuck – Screening of the documentary “Remembering Playland”

    · The Arcade Trivia Contest has evolved into "Game Show Game Show” to test your knowledge of both pinball and videos!

This list is subject to change and will be updated as needed. A full schedule with descriptions and times will be posted later. See the forum for the latest updates.
