CGE 2010 Auction: Remote Bidding Allowed this year?

Will remote bidding be allowed this for the CGE Auction?

With some conditions of course. Such as:

• Pre-approved bidder
• Immediate payment requirement.
• No guarantee of bid acceptance if there are connection problems (mobile, chat, etc)
• limitations on the description pics before the auction (they are not available of course)

Might be nice to include those who will not be able to make it.

And yes,,, I volunteer my laptop, AT&T data time / hotel WiFi time, and auction time for the duties if needed.

Can GameGavel do a 'Live Auction' thing like eBay used to have? Granted, we usually don't know what's being sold until that day (sometimes minutes before) (I think), but that might be an interesting format to try out...

I am working with the CGE Team on some details now. If we can pull this all together in the next two weeks we may try something. Stay tuned
