Default Name of old shareware platforming game

This is going to be very vague as I just can't seem to remember the name of game or the disc that I got it on. I'm just hoping maybe one of you owned the disc or played the game.

I'm trying to remember the name of an old shareware platforming game from the mid to late 90's. It appeared on a windows 98 shareware compilation I was given when I bought a PC. Some of the other games that came on the disc were Theme Hospital, Pac Man (not the original an updated version) and Street Hockey. It came with two discs one was called great or cool game for kids I think and the other was like 100 great games or something. The games was a 2d plat former where you played as some yellow character, you could pick up upgrades to help you complete the level and you could construct your own level. This game also has some sequels if that helps.

    Wild guess time!

I'm going with Crate Man. It was on the 100 Great Games Vol. 2 CD. The main character wore a yellow shirt. There was at least one sequel (if the internets are to be believed) and......well, I've got nothing else. It's a shot in the dark, let me know if it's it. Screen shot and link to the game below.

Man, I was going to throw out the generic Commander Keen guess, but he didn't wear yellow...except for his yellow helmet. But he did appear on scads of shareware discs.

BTW, did anyone ever catalog those somewhere? I've lost track of my really old ones, and would like to see those games again, there were some interesting ones.

Thanks for the help guys but the game was not that old. The main character didn't wear a yellow shirt he was yellow and naked I think. Some of the obstacles you had to avoid were birds and spikes, you could pick up guns and other powerups and there were fans where you had to ride the wind.
