I found an old SNES at a junk store that worked, but was in a broken enclosure, so I removed the casing and was going to fit it into a new enclosure case. However, I screwed up big time. To make it fit the new enclosure I desoldered the EXT port and removed it, and now the thing won't work anymore. The screen is just all black, no sound, no graphics, nothing. I've already thrown out the EXT port so re-attaching it isn't an option. Is there a way I could solder jumper-wires or anything where the EXT port was to make it work again, or did I just kill the thing dead?
