Default Crystal Original Xbox Controller - Nothing works?

Hello, I have a rare controller. It is a Crystal Original Xbox Controller. I tried plugging it in and nothing works. None of the buttons, triggers, or analogue sticks work at all. I tried testing the cord and it seemed to have current going through the wires. That means that there should be no breaks in the wires. I'm pretty much lost here. Please help me repair this controller. Thank you and have a nice day.

Hmm,it may be shorting out somewhere, that or one of the wires came off the board.

What do you mean you tested for current? You tested for continuity in the wires?

If the wires all check out ok, then something is surely wrong with the PCB inside the controller.

I don't know. I just put the black probe on each of the golden contacts on the controller connector and I put the red probe on each of the wires in the connector that was on the circuit board. I mainly use the Speaker setting, since I do NOT want to go through all the settings. Am I doing this right, or do I have to do it some other way with these Crystal Xbox S Controllers? Please help me. Thank you and have a nice day.

It seems that you're testing it properly.

I would get a beaten Xbox pad at a yard sale/flea market and exchange the PCBs but you'll need to desolder the crystal pad cable and solder it to the new PCB, unless it uses a connector or something as that would make the switch easier (no need to solder).
