    Default NES game holder info

I recently acquired some NES games that came in these NES carrying cases. They look like fake leather/alligator skin and have a gold plaque on the front that says "Nintendo." Each one holds about 10 games. I'm really just kinda curious about them, has anyone seen them before? Value? Just anything. Sorry I don't have any pictures.

They're ultra common.. that's all I know. I imagine them to be legit licensed accessories with no serious value.

I have one of these, I got it in a bundle of stuff. I don't think it's worth much.

Was it like this? I picked this one up a couple months ago. It's kinda beat-up, but still interesting. I can't imagine they're worth very much. That $20 quote posted earlier sounds about right.

I didn't actually know those things existed.. I might considering hunting some down, except that I recently found a CD box that holds my entire NES collection pretty well.. ...Might consider it anyway just for the 'old Nintendo stuff' angle, though.

It kinda looks like the thing Lucas held some NES games in at that power glove scene in the wizard...

I bought one new back in the day. The fake alligator skin cracks open near the bending point. I don't think they are worth much.

This doesn't look like what I have. Mine seems to be more along the lines of the first post. Yours reminds me of a tackle box.

But in reality, it is not much different, there is still a snap on the front, the Nintendo logo is still in the same corner, but on mine it is a one piece gold badge with the Nintendo logo grooved into it. The top handle is a flat piece of the same fake black alligator skin looking plastic with two metal clips holding it to the top.

I`ve seen 2 different type. The fake alligator skin one and the textured plastic like allyoublood posted.

The alligator one hold about ten games and the other one 15.

I only have the textured plastic one that I found last found. Not cracked at all. That`s why I keep that one.

Regardless of rarity, it's a good prop to have around in case someone challenges you a game. "Pick any game you want. I'm good at all of them. I have 97 of them."
