Default What SNES model is easier to break the tabs off?

    Normal SNES or SNES 2?

    EDIT:
I have the Gamebit to take them apart. I want to know which is easier to take apart for access to tabs to break them off.

What's up with islands? Get more land.
What's up with deserts? Get less sand.

Personally I'd just break the tabs off a Game Genie and use it as a passthrough. That way you don't harm the SNES itself.

I already have a Game Genie with the tabs broken off it works but I want to play games with chips in them so I need to mod a system

The SNES 2 doesn't have the cartridge lock mechanism, it'll save you the work of removing ~5 screws.

Every SNES 1 requires you to remove the power switch assembly.

Of course, you could just break the tabs from the outside making your question kind of moot.

I just tried breaking the tabs off of my SNES 1 it didnt work out to well i got one partially off and one is a little weird looking. I did it through the outside because my Gamebits dont work. i dont have pliers small enough to reach inside properly
