Default Protos in the news SEPT 2002

Glad to see this thread was missed. From now on I will start a new one each month so it doesn't get too bogged down with the sold items.

All those prototypes are the real deal. I saw all of Frodis's protos in person last year, and bought out most of Will Fong's collection over the last two years (these are what was left) .

Which is better having the most current auctions first or the oldest auctions first?

My original thought was that as the new auctions came in I could add them to the bottom but its seems the opposite would be easier to follow.

The Zimag cart looks just like the Air Raid I just sent to Marco. I believe it's a pirate not a proto.

Nope I don't have any Zimag protos, nor have I seen one. They're rarer than hens teeth. I would be very interested in getting my hands on that, but something tells me it's going to sky rocket.

Can't say for sure if it is legit, looks like it could be. I've seen some odd looking protos from third party companies before.

A little blurp about the AVP Lynx cart, I was the one who put up a reproduction of it on eBay a couple months ago. Some clown from Germany won it, didn't pay and listed it as his own on eBay.de. He got busted on Atariage and apologized. I then sold the repro to a guy from the message boards privately for $50.00,- dollars and he decided not to keep it and put it back up.

I think the guy who won it from him is now selling it so it's not a mass produced item. The reason why he is not showing it is probably because it is unlike any other Lynx cart around.

If anyone is interested in what it looks like, I'll post a picture of it.

I don't know... I would suggest adding new auctions as new posts at the bottom of the thread like normal (rather than editing your initial post each time), just so the conversation about each note is left intact. Otherwise it's hard to follow.

AVP is mass produced now, I bought it for $40 awhile back, so anyone that tells you otherwise is a fool.

Well the N64 dev unit doesn't look like it has all the PC software required. I don't know what hardware is required but I think you need more hardware than is there as well.

Actually, this unit is complete. This peticular development system was made by SN Systems in the UK, the reason it seems incomplete is because the cables aren't shown (as mentioned in description). This is by far the best devkit there is for the N64. 8)

So don't bid on it !

I have 18-20 different official N64 PC disks used for development.

You don't need this for N64 development?
