Classic TETRIS World Championship in SoCal

Former Nintendo World Champion and Tetris expert Robin Mihara has brought together the greatest Classic Tetris players for an event like no other. For the first time, record holding players from around the country will meet in competition before a live audience. No more internet scoreboards, no more second chances, just a good old fashioned face-to-face live tournament for the ages.

Held at the Downtown Independent Theater in Los Angeles, California, the Classic Tetris World Championship will be an all-day event open to the public. Come test your skills against the world's greatest players and compete for a spot in the semi-finals!

August 8th, 2010. Qualifying round at noon, Semi-Finals at 3PM, Finals at 5PM. Rooftop After Party with chiptunes DJs at 6.

$10 (includes one qualifying attempt. Additional attempts available for $3)

The Classic Tetris World Championship will utilize the classic Nintendo NES program of the game.
