Default Opening up a Classic Arcade and Bar in Vegas

Quick introduction. I'm in the process of collecting start up capital for a Classic Arcade Bar and Lounge in Las Vegas. While I know there's a market for a gaming, drinking, and music, investors and banks seem to think otherwise.

So, if you are someone who either lives in Vegas or comes to Vegas once in a while, whether for CGE or you just live close to Nevada, and would go to a lounge that not only houses arcade cabinets but also hosts videogame tournaments, I could use your help.

Go to the website below and if you think its something for you, 'like' it or post on our wall. With your help, INSERT COIN(S) will be a reality by the end of the year! Any advice or experience you want to share about running an arcade, feel free to drop a line. Thanks for your time! Looking forward to seeing you in Vegas!

Well, you are on the right track. A barcade is definitely the way to go now a days. It seems that some arcades on the east coast have had success with this formula. Good luck to you on this venture.

Good luck with your proposition. Many investors and banks look for a ROI and restaurants are among the fastest businesses that fail. I can understand their apprehension.

I've deleted your other threads that were just repeats of this one. One thread is more than enough.
Because it makes no attempt to be great, it is therefore extremely great.

That's because the economy is shit and fewer people are coming to Vegas. You know it's bad with five-star hotels are basically giving rooms away.

It is still a promising idea though. Where exactly in Vegas are you looking? Downtown? Closer to the strip? In between the two? Somewhere else? Whenever I go to Vegas, I don't rent a car, I just take the Deuce or a cab whenever I need to get around. What I'm getting at is if you're in the middle of nowhere, it could be a tough draw.

Good luck though, and if you're open and near stuff when I'm in Vegas next, I'll definitely check it out.
