    Default NES cartridge to PC

Well, the whole project is as follows:
I was moded my old NES (Nintendo). I took the case and fit a PC in to it. What I want to do is be able to connect the cartridge reader to the computer and let it read the game and create a separate program to play the game. The main issue I am having is how the heck to connect the 72pin reader to the computer and reading it! So I thought if I can make it like a USB by plug and play and make a separate program to read it.
IF ANYONE HAS ANY IDEAS PLEASE I REALLY NEED HELP!!
    THANKX

Doing this is extremly hard and impossible. First off the PC would have to run MS-DOS natively,so no Windows, no Pentium or AMD processor, no modern PC. Second you can't run a cart off a modern PC anyway. The only thing close to running a NES on a PC is if you built a NES development kit connected to an orignal modified NES like this guy did. http://devkits.handheldmuseum.com/NE...ionControl.htm Even then connected to the PC via a serial cable, you would only be able to program the game itself and not run it on the host PC.

So simple answer, unless you have a shit load of money and are an original programmer for Nintendo, opt for emulation on your PC in a NES case or play the games on the original hardware. It's not worth your time and effort.

Are you talking about something like the Retrode?

Or just something along the lines of a regular ROM dumper?

Well since what retrode did was USB,you can always connect it to an internal USB port using a small PCI USB add on card, just fitting it to the right distance from the NES door would be the challenge, you could mount it somehow thou.
