    Default Snes Mod

Hey folks whats up? I recently came into a couple of consoles and I am considering trying to do some mods for the first time. The first one I was thinking about doing was modding an SNES to either have A/V outputs or RGB. I am really not a technical guy buy trade but I would love to start experimenting, anyone have some good links to tutorials,suggestions,ideas...What is the easiest for maybe someone not as savy with electronics as some of you might be??? Thanks in advance!!!

The original model SNES doesn't require any mods for RGB or A/V output, the A/V out connector provides all of it natively. You might have to mod an existing RGB cable with resistors or capacitors depending on your console region, for proper RGB output.

For general information, questions, etc, the gamesx forums and tutorials are a great place to start.
