Question NES cartridge won't go in. HELP!!

Hi- bought a Nintendo (NES) from ebay and a game from another buyer. The game (Spiritual Warfare) won't go in and the 'teeth' appear to be a little lower than other cartriges. I seem to remember the game we had in the past had an attatchment that went over the end -must have been some kind of adapter. Anyone know what I'm talking about and where I can get one? It was a really fun game and I want to go down memory lane. The game is designed for NES and made by Wisdom Tree.

Game Genie may be of assistance, here. If wisdom tree made an adapter, I do not know of it. My copy of Bible Adventures (and my color dreams carts) fit fine.

Haven't heard of a game genie, have you just started playing the NES? Anyways, game genies are easy to find on ebay, and occasionally in the wild. Hope the game works out for you.

Hmmm... methinks you jest Buzz n64. Are y ou serious about ebay? Oh! Doh! Its a joke isn't it? I thought Game Genie was a user name and went looking for them. Lol . Sigh! I really want to play this game. My kids had it and I loved it. Apparently its like The Legend of Zelda so maybe I'll look for that. So we had a NES in the eighties -don't know what happened to it- probably son took to Cash Converters to buy illegal substances!!Do you play it?

Woops, I should have read your location before suggesting a device. I'm not sure if the Game Genie was available in Australia. A device called Pro Action Replay may be what you need, although it's hard to say. I wish I could see exactly how the cart is not fitting into the slot so I could recommend something more precise.

If nothing works, Wisdom Tree is still around and selling their "classic" NES and Genesis games for PC. Spiritual Warfare sells for $7.50 on their site. Requires a 486 or better, so there may be some software mucking-around there.

Any chance the console is something other than an NES?
    Maybe it's a SNES?

Yes there are some piggy back carts that let you by pass the lock out chip. This is why they made them. They are black and on the top and back there is a place for another cart. They can be usefull to play some of the greyer unlicsenced stuff. Not sure though if they where wisdom tree or Hes carts as I dont have any. Me thinks wisdom tree. Leaves to scower thee intrawebez....Yep they are the HES games....pretty rare. Robinhood, Toobin maybe Europe

The game goes in but not all the way so you can't push it down. The 'teeth'(Is that the word?) appears lower than other games.

Interesting about the pc game. Didn't think Wisdom Tree was still around. Didn't see a contact- just information(wickapaedia) What is 486 or better mean? Sorry- bit tech. challenged.

Yes! Thats the word- piggy back carts. My son reckons it was the SNES games that we used that for though. Maybe the game is faulty . I'll return it I think and maybe try another seller. Thanks a lot. My son in law has a Brand new NES that he won't open -just as an investment. Freaky- I will play mine.

By "lower", do you mean they're too far inside the game's case?

Obviously the OP is not 8 years old. I wouldn't think that's the problem.

"486" refers to a processor chip used in computers roughly between 1990 and 1995. On the Wisdom Tree website, it even states that the game cannot run on Windows Vista. Long story short: your best bet may just be to find the right NES stuff.
