Well, it's apparently time to start preorders for the 10th year of MGC, tickets go on sale August 18th:

I promised myself I'd go this year. Here's hoping I don't flake.
RIP Kamino. 1984-2010. Yes, yes I do like nes...
<+skaar> Maybe you should ask yourself "What is it about me that makes men not want to let me penetrate them?"
At first I was getting enthusiastic at the news of there being a midwest-based classic gaming tradeshow/convention, but then I checked the actual location..
Wisconsin is so north and eastern you can barely consider it part of the midwest, and it's certainly on the opposite end of the US from where I am. Drat.. Maybe if it's still going in a few years..
Wisconsin technically is the Midwest, I went there from Missouri. I flew there, but they stopped direct flights to Milwaukee that aren't super expensive so I'll be driving 6-7 hours up there for 2011.
It's totally worth it.
planning on returning as well, bringing my jag and maybe a few surprises.
can't do any booking this early though
"Northmidwest gaming classic" sounds dumb. It's worth going if you're anywhere nearby. At least it's not in Green Bay :P

I take megabus from IL to wi then a shuttle to the hotel.
Absolutely. And I'm coming from Delaware.
Wouldn't miss it for the world.

Ah, so there's finally a thread for it. Yeah of course I'm going. 4th year in a row. May or may not have a booth this year, depends on how much will be left in the trade box after Chi-Town Classic.
I wasn't too impressed with the venue last year, but we also brought our kids. Maybe with just my wife and I going it'll be better.
I'll be there for sure! Wouldn't miss it. I'm also driving up from Missouri...makes for a good road trip!
