playstation 2 two slim buzz sound

i looked around and can't find much on this. i hear a buzzing sound through speakers on tv. it is always there and can make louder and quieter moving the multi out on the back of the ps2. what is causing this and is there any way to fix it? it is kinda annoying that it is always there. usually when there is sound you don't notice it but when it is quiet you can here it.

Does it affect the video too? Mine did. I found out last night that mine had a bad a/v cable. Try a different cable and see what happens.

it is not the cable but yeah i tried another. it is the ps2 doing it. think i heard they used cheaper stuff in the slim ones. nothing wrong with the picture too. can use the same cable on ps1 and don't do it. it is something with the multiout connector i guess on the slim ps2..
