    Default Star Fox 2 info

Maybe it's the emulation, maybe it's not, but is it possible to ever tangle with the star wolf squad members? They always get out of range too fast...I'm gonna guess that it's just an unfinished part of the game.

It's an emulation bug. If you really want to fight them before an updated ZSNES is released, try to attack one of the smaller enemies (i.e. the missles or fighters) as those guys are chasing you. The game works in real time, so as you're fighting the others, whoever was tailing you will show up in the middle of it.

I've killed the lizard guy, the pig guy, and both battleships so far, using lots of save states and some tricky manuevering. I kind of fucked up my save state when I was on the meteor, though. Anyone get farther than this yet?

yeah it's real annoying to try and attack a planet with Leon or Pigma breathing down your neck every 5 seconds.

You guys must be doing something right moreso than I am because anytime I try to play it, I get as far as the intro to a playable scene, then the emu crashes.

Well I use an older version of Zsnes, which runs it alot better then the newest one...although still not perfectly.

it runs perfectly on a real snes.
there is a faq out there on how to build a starfox2 cart using another super fx cart and an 8mbit eprom.
something thats not cleary explained in the faq is that the super fx cart
NEEDS 512kbit of sram to work with starfox2.
    i think both gsu-1 and gsu-2 carts are ok,since i build a working
starfox2 from a doom and and a stunt race fx cart.
    i'd recommend stunt race fx,though.
it has battery backed sram onboard.

The newest version of zsnes will fix the problems... I have the latest build, but have not tested it yet.
