Default Martial Arts Capoeira: does it look good?

I aside from Capoeira Legends for PC, I know of one other game based on capoeira and the idea of a game being based on such an unusual sport is intriguing, it's called Martial Arts Capoeira, which is planned for PS2, Wii, PC and PSP, but hasn't been released yet, and likely will never be. Opinions?

    That looks... boring.

A game filled with Eddy Gordo clones? The hit detection looks kinda off, too.

Whats the point of the timer? Nothing! What good is it when both fighters have the same exact moves?!?

If you want Capoeira, just play Bust a Groove 1/2 for the PlayStation. You'll have more fun.
Because it makes no attempt to be great, it is therefore extremely great.

I will have to agree with Stu on this one.

If everybody has the same style, that will get super boring.

The Tekken and Virtua Fighter series really show why it is good to have multiple fighting styles.

VF even managed to get a guy on there that does Judo (I am pretty sure he was first added in VF4:EVO).

If I want that game, I will bust out some Tekken with a friend and make them select a different outfit for Eddie Gordo

I'm going to agree with the group on this one and say that this game looks unbelievably boring. There is no reason to play more than once because you'll have the game figured out. Like Kitsune said the hit detection looks off too.

Considering when the video was posted I'll be surprised if this ever gets released.

Sorry, but hasn't this been cancelled? Graffitti hasn't updated their website for the game in literally two years and last I heard, they were having serious cash flow problems.

People still like Capoeira? It's one of the least effective fighting styles there is. Waste tons of energy plus you telegraph almost all your moves. Very impractical style.

I recant, this game looks like utter shit indeed. Probably will be cancelled, no doubt. Prototype collectors, keep your eyes open.
