    Default Virtual Boy..dead??help

I plugged my virtual Boy in to the wall, using the Nintendo made adapters (ac, and box that connects to the controller) and the console made a popping sound in the speakers. Then, nothing. It seems to be dead. I have no idea what to do, batteries dont work in the original box, and obviously Nintendo doesnt repair these anymore. I miss Wario Land! Any help is appreciated.

Are you saying you used an AC adapter, or that you used an adapter that output AC? You didnt use the nes-002 NES ac adapter, did you?

There is no way to use another AC adapter but the correct one. The Virtual Boy uses an US SNES AC adapter which has a propietary plug.
