    Default French TV system, is it compatible with PAL consoles?

    Hi, can any french users tell me if vintage UK sega consoles will work with french SECAM TVs? Many Thanks

    well, they should. PAL is the european standard and france is in europe D

    France uses Secam, which is different to PAL. I know UK carts would work in france, but do the consoles?

    I thought PAL and SECAM were the same thing. They're not? o_O
