Default Modern tv good for classic gaming?

I recently got a CRT and while I like that there's no artifacts while playing my old games I don't like the picture quality. Does anyone know of an LCD or LED display that does not have an issue handling an analog signal?

I'm a little confused. You DONT like the way your retro games look on CRT tvs? Retro games were designed for CRTs.

LCD/LED tvs don't have scanlines, so most retro games are going to look pretty bad on them. Delay is almost always an issue with LCD tvs too unless your using a HDMI/Component cable for the video. Artifacts really shouldn't be an issue with modern day LCD tvs but that should be the least of your worries when using one for composite cable based consoles.

Games look fine I guess it's mainly cable and movies that look terrible.

Plasma would be better than LCD. I have a 42" Panasonic plasma, and retro games look pretty good on it. It also has an s-video input, unlike almost every LCD I was looking at when I bought it.

I say if you got the room keep the CRT for old skool gaming. I mean its perfect for the nastalgia purpose. I still got a old old JC Penny's (yea remember when they made tv's?) tv sitting in my basement so if i ever wanted to plug in a Atari or nes or something like that into that and relive child hood i can

and i have a 42 inch plasma for my main stuff

I've got one of the new 60" Sharp Quattron's and standard-def stuff looks great on it. Especially my Wii & emulators. I had an old Vizio hdtv before that and anything standard def on it looked fuzzy, washed-out, and colorless. Game Mode works great too, so there's hardly any noticeable lag.

Nothing beats a CRT for classic gaming though. Sony Wega's are the best but they are probably the heaviest tv's ever made by man.

All CRTs hurt my eyes at 60Hz, so I'd be interested in a good lagless LCD too.
The only one I've seen that had no latency was about $15k when I last checked a few years ago, and I haven't come across anything else since.
