    Default Power Adapter Specs for Sega Master System II

    hey what are the ac adaptor specs for the SMS 2? it doesnt say on the console, and I was supplied a genesis adaptor which is diffrent from my SMS 1 adaptor.

    yes but i dont want to burn it out. does anyone know the specs on the oem supplied psu for the SMS 2?

    It won't burn out with a gen1 ac. Like most systems at its time, the SMS2 has internal voltage regulators that convert the voltage down to what it needs.

    That's true. I've been using a 12v adapter on my NES for a long time now, without any hassle, for example. AFAIK, the Master System can do so as well.

    output: 10V DC 0.5A
