    Default Some GBA Boxes/manuals

A friend gave these to me to attempt to find a home for. 7/10 to 9.5/10 condition.

    Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories
Advance Wars 2: Black Hole Rising
Final Fantasy 1/2: Darn of Souls
    Legend of Zelda
    Gunstar Super Heroes
Super Mario 3 (super mario advance 4)
Harvest Moon: Friends of Mineral Town.

Any idea what the lot is worth?

    Thanks in advance!

imo, boxes and manuals are almost never worth >$3.
that being said, i could use a few of those.

If you decide you'd like to play Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories instead, I have the game cartridge I've been meaning to sell.

I'm sorry but this isn't really true. Yes, plenty of boxes/manuals are worthless, just like plenty of games are. But just as often, a box and manual can increase the price of a rare/valuable title by as much as threefold.

Having said that, most of those particular boxes aren't worth more than around $5, with Gunstar Super Heroes being worth the least (you can get this game CIB for next to nothing). I'd say Harvest Moon or Zelda would be the priciest.

well, yeah, on the pricier games or things like older cartridge games that's certainly true, but at the same time, the game being worth something doesn't necessarily make the box/manual worth much; it's almost an entirely separate market.

@ "Those are worthless" and "I can use em" in the same breath.

That being said, most of those ARE more common titles, but decent demand. I'd think $15-25 for the lot if you can find the right buyer is not unreasonable. $10-12 if you want to sell em a lot faster.

And the game not being worth much doesn't make the box/manual worthless necessarily. This is why I don't make blanket statements about the value of this stuff. Look at the black box NES games: most of them can be had cart only for a couple of bucks, but CIB you can add a zero on the end of that price.

I find that having the boxes and inserts can make a game much more valuable, but usually the boxes and inserts aren't worth much separately unless the game is rare on it's own. It's much easier to buy a loose copy of the game and then sell a complete copy for more, you'll get much more than selling the boxes separately. The only thing is you have to make sure the part numbers all match, it's mostly a problem with Nintendo games.
