I put this in my buying and selling thread but would like to post it here too to see if anyone is interested. It has 4 blown capacitors? so I think it can be fixed.

Sorry, I meant capacitors and it's the 3 on the bottom right and the middle right one.

An 8600 GT is hardly "classic." If you had some 3dfx cards, on the other hand...

I'd also wager that fixing it would cost more than your asking price. You might get a few bucks for it on eBay, considering that it's still a usable card. I've been pricing 6800s and such which are fetching $20ish, so you might have a shot at your $10 asking price.

I understand the 6800 is the last card officially supported under Win9x, so there might be some demand there.

Is the classic computer forum an acceptable place to sell semi-old PC parts? Not to derail the thread, but I do have a pile of old cards sitting here, if anyone's interested.

I might suggest the forums at http://vogons.zetafleet.com , but there's a lot of international folks there and shipping to them would likely be prohibitively expensive.
