Default FS: Rare Sealed & Complete PC RPG's

You can view high res images of the higher end items at my imageshack album:
    http://img560.imageshack.us/g/img20110201225944.jpg/

I recently acquired a large lot of sealed and complete PC games. I have multiple images of each title below, so feel free to request more images if you are interested in a particular title.
The first image contains all of the sealed games, which include Ultima: Worlds of Adventure 2 -- Martian Dreams, Ultima VII: Forge of Virtue, Ultima Collection, Ultima Underworld: The Stygian Abyss, Ultima Underworlds II: Labyrinth of Worlds, Ultima VII: Black Gate, Fallout, Fallout 2, and Fallout Tactics.

This image contains Advanced Dungeons & Dragons: Collector's Edition, System Shock, Wing Commander II, Ultima VIII: Pagan, Veil of Darkness, Lands of Lore III, Wizardry: Nemesis, Legends of Valour, Wizardry Gold, Thunderscape, Darklands, and Eye of the Beholder III.

This image contains the final portion of PC games, which includes Guerilla in Bulgaria (Amiga), Windows Vista Home Premium Full Retail release, Silent Hill 2, Fallout 3 soundtrack and poster, Darkseed II, Ultimate Wizardry Archives, The Complete Ultima VII, and another copy of System Shock.

Of these 12 CD-I games, six are sealed, those being Connect Four, Dark Castle, Escape From CyberCity, Laser Lords, Mystic Midway, and Zombie Dinos. The others are complete and in near-perfect shape. I believe all of the items were new until fairly recently. Fortunately atleast a few remained that way. As for the price of the CD-I games, I'm not really sure what to ask. Feel free to send offers, though.

    CD-I bundle is SOLD!

    I'm still interested!
The forum was done for a bit there, and I'd forgotten about these.
I'll paypal as soon as I've confirmation that they're still available.

So are these already sold? I was kind of interested in Worlds of Ultima: Martian Dreams.

Honestly, take those PC games to eBay. I can imagine some of the mad loot you'll bring in with a sealed Fallout 1 and sealed System Shock 1.

Sorry, I should probably refine my description. The first image is the only one containing sealed games. All of the others are used but complete and range in condition from good to mint.

Still, you will almost certainly get more money on eBay than you will here, sealed or not. Don't short yourself - PC collectors are pretty rabid and you've given the members here ample time to make you an offer. You may want to talk to Kitsune Sniper as he finds complete PC games and sells them all the time.

Thanks for the advice. I actually just posted these items last night around midnight. I always like to check on various gaming websites before resorting to Ebay on big ticket items, as I save a good 9%-15% on fees alone. That gives me a lot of leeway with pricing. In any case, I will likely move them to Ebay this weekend if I can't sell anything.

I'm going to echo portnoyd's suggestion. Take these to eBay. I sold a sealed copy of Ultima Underworld II for over $100 there last year.

You're sitting on a goldmine right there.

Awesome! I figured it was a good purchase, but I couldn't gauge the exact value. I imagine I want to fix list these items and avoid auctions, yeah? I'm a little concerned about exposure. I'm sure they are sought after, but I want to make sure those who are interested in them are aware they are for sale.

I actually prefer to sell games like these in auctions. These sell VERY WELL, especially if you ship to Europe.

    It's a huge gamble, though.

Well, again, thanks for your insight. Once I make a good chunk of my investment back, I may resort to auctions. I sold off a complete copy of Zak McKracken last month. Sure enough, it went to a European. They certainly seem rabid about their classic PC games.

Chiming in that most of my recent old PC Game sales are going overseas. Russia, Germany, even Portugal.

If it helps with your pricing, I sold my copy of UWII for $90, Ultima Collection for $75, and the CD-ROM version of System Shock for $65 (all mint/complete).

    Good luck on your sale!

Holy hell, those prices are for complete copies? That's unbelievable...
As for shipping those items, what method did you use? That's the biggest issue I've run into lately. I am willing to ship lower-valued items through First Class mail, but something of this caliber needs to be protected. Express Mail seems to be the only service that offers quick delivery with confirmation, but it's so damn expensive.

I always use USPS Priority. If someone buys around $100 or a good amount of stuff, I usually just cover the shipping. I can usually fit 3 big box games in the Medium USPS box, and that runs about $12 (w/tracking #) in the US. Box is layered with crumpled up newspaper, games gently lay on top, then pack any open spots with more crumpled newspaper. Tape the shit outta the box seams and that thing is secure and solid.

Overseas shipping runs a shitload more though ($30-$45).
