What is going on in this game? After the valley of ashes was on a train I figured it wasn't really going to follow the story. That blinking light. That damn blinking light. The bane of my high school existence. What's it symbolize? Uhhh the green means money right? Or maybe it represents Gatsby's desire to court the particular woman in that house?
I did not enjoy The Great Gatsby...

Actually that was the best part of the book, really intense stuff right there. I was disappointed that there wasn't a car boss, you know right before whats his name plows over whatsherface in it.
In all seriousness, Gatsby and The Outsiders were the only assigned books in High School that I willingly read. I may have to get a copy of Gatsby now, since I've had the urge to read it because of this game.
This just in hot off the press
U GAIZ JUST DONT LIKE CHANGE , (builds a artificial foundation here)
I kind of liked this game.
What is it? A hack or a game that wasn't released in the US?
I'm pretty sure it's just a flash game. Very well done, but still.
I wish it were an actual NES game, even though it's outright amazing for Flash (except for those cliched Mega Man eyes. It would've been nicer with the sprites looking more like the art style Castlevania III used for sprites so there could be more realistic (for NES) characters, but still). Next up, IMO, is either The Outsiders for Sega Mega Drive or To Kill a Mockingbird for Super Nintendo.
Parentheses parentheses parentheses...
I should add that while the book definitely wasn't the worst thing I had to read during my education, I did find it rather bland and unenjoyable. (I would have to nominate Steppenwolf there - but at least it was memorable.)
I would donate to get a hi-res wallpaper of that introduction image.

I didn't really get the point of having a fake backstory (localized cart found at yardsale or whatever) for where the game was found and then immediately contradicting it with developer credits on the About page. I guess it's an easy way to get interest.
Perhaps because some of us like to read entertaining things? Are you also one of those people who scoff at TrashCade because its creator contradicts its creation by saying it was originally only built to see if his real cabinet would fit around his stairs?
