    Default Super Scope games

I need some help here folks. I'm trying to find out which, if any, of the SNES Super Scope games could be played without the Super Scope. Battle Clash, Yoshi's Safari, etc.? Any of them?

For that matter, what about the games that used the mouse? Which of them could only be played with the mouse?

I ask because the game store I'm working at now is trying to clear out some old stuff and plans on just throwing out the gun and mouse games because they figure no one will want them. I'm trying to save them. Help me out?
I only need 2 more NES games (US)!

Why just throw them out? There's always somebody out there that would want them. Why doesn't the store dump them on eBay or give them away to an employee? If they're hard to sell individually, I'm sure selling them as mouse/scope lots would work, even if not a lot of cash can be made. I'd hate to see good games get trashed. For the most part, mouse games have standard control schemes too, and the Super Scope games may be limited to their peripheral but games like Battle Clash and Metal Combat are awesome. When I found my Super Scope, the first thing I did was head to a local game store that I knew had a crap selection for SNES except for Super Scope games that weren't selling, and I bought one of every Super Scope game they had. The store clerks actually started up a conversation about it, asking me if I had a Super Scope and where I got it because they were surprised I had one and wished they had it themselves. The audience may be limited, but it's not nonexistent.

Believe me, I'm trying. My boss is a real good guy, but he just doesn't quite understand the collecting idea. He's more worried about stupid customers buying them not knowing what they are and returning them 'cuz they don't have the proper peripheral. I won't let him trash them, if anything I'll keep them myself and try to find people that need them. But I'd rather see them stay here at the store for sale.

So yes, it seems like most of the mouse games can be run without the mouse. Hopefully I can manage to keep the gun games in store. I myself just bought some recently, maybe I can use that as an argument to keep them here.

I wish more collectors came in here, that'd go a long way toward helping.

I might be interested in some of those games. I'll try to remember to give you a call on Monday to ask what's available... or you can tell me right here. It's possible I could make a special trip to the store Monday night.

Well, I've gotten some mixed signals from work. First I was told we'd be tossing all gun and mouse games, now I'm hearing it'll just be the mouse games. I'll find out for sure on Monday. If it is just the mouse games, I've been able to determine that the only game we have that actually requires the mouse is Mario Paint, so it looks like that's the only game we'll be getting rid of.

Even still, I'd like to be able to keep them in the store, even if we have to mark them down and put some kind of sticker on them so people know for sure it won't play without the mouse.
