Question about Gamestop 3DS reservation.

Just curious but, I reserved mine a while back and at the time there were no colors to select. If I don't stop in and tell them a color what happens? They would still have one right? I don't really care about either of the two colors, so I was just wonderting. I probably wont have time to stop in.

I just want to know where you can go and test one out. I want to get one, but I need to play with it first. I am worried it may be uncomfortable on the eyes to play. I guess I still have the VB headache hangover. I remember playing a VB at blockbuster for about 10 minutes, and then having a headache for the rest of the evening.

OP, I would just call the store you made the reservation at. Each store may be different.

The default color is black if you never came in to switch it over. As far as trying the system out Nintendo is holding different events for Club Nintendo members to check it out in different areas.

Try giving whom ever you pre-ordered it from a call and ask them. They should know.

Yes, a week or two ago someone from my local GameStop called and asked me, and said they had to ask, otherwise black would be chosen as a default choice.

Sorry, I only posted it there because I thought it was a silly question. But I would prefer black so that is good. If you buy it and the 3D effect bothers you I guess you could just play with it turned off. Of course I guess you might as well be playing a DS. lol. Thanks for the answers guys.

Yes the 3D effect is supposed to be adjustable up to turning off entirely.

If you preordered before you could choose the color (like me), then you are likely at the top of the resevation list and assured to have one. Black is likely the color that will be produced in greater quantities so that's the default. You may get a chance to choose at pick-up if they have enough (unlikely).
