Default Infinium Labs Phantom [computer renderings]

Someone from Infinium sent these to me through Vidgame. Not sure how relative they will be to the final design (or if anyone still has interest in this system?) But here they are:

It's an interesting machine, I wonder if it'll actually be worth watching, that's the real question...

If the Phantom ever ships, which I doubt, it's going to flop for a dozen different reasons -- not least of which is that the people behind it are shifty bastards with a history of failed business ventures. (Go to the Phantom article from the news page, and scroll down to the user comments at the end of the articles, where you'll find links to webpages with information on those failed ventures.)

This idea was born to fail. No way is anybody going to pay $400 for the box then $10 per month. The box pics look pretty cool though.

Yeah but even if it fails, won't that silver one look good sitting on top of
    a Nuon in ten years?

I applied for the beta for that thing. The beta form was broken (would not submit the data properly), so I had to retype it all, and email it. Bah. I just hope they send me one of these things so I get a free r@rez0r beta system that I won't return. Mwha.
