That is quite the interesting name the new Dissidia game has. But yea it is pretty much Dissidia with new characters and a new story mode with assists and stuff.

What's up with islands? Get more land.
What's up with deserts? Get less sand.
I'm actually more interested with the inclusion of world maps though. Being able to travel through the world map of the original Final Fantasy in 3d is just extremely nostalgic.
The original Dissidia has its flaws(major ones,) but having been a fan of the series since the original, I can't help but be excited for the next Dissidia title. It's just the small things that the game offers that really hits you. Detailed descriptions of all the summons, a couple hundred icons based on characters and enemies from the previous games, Mognet, etc. I was going to wait until the games price dropped, but being 29.99 and then it hit my Amazon Gold Box for $27 I finally broke down and preordered it.
If Square Enix released a disc based "all things Final Fantasy" gave the entire storyline, detailed character descriptions, character sprites and artwork, enemy sprites for all games, charts and tables based on every item/enemy/character in every game, etc, I'm sure it'd sell. I'm sure they sell this in book form as well, but it's probably released in Japan only.
