I use craigslist a lot for buying and selling locally, so I thought I would share. I've always wanted to get rep for how good of customer service I provide.

Cool concept, I wonder if it's legit? Either way, I think Craigslist should provide an official rating service to discourage manipulation, and various competing services that might make it complicated.
Plus, wrong section to post this in.

interesting...
I'd think it's marginally useful. I mean, I wouldn't do any transaction through craigslist that is based on trust, like sending payment and having goods mailed to me sight unseen. That's nuts. There is no third party in that realm to back you, especially since they can just dump the freemail account they used to scam anyway and start with a fresh one with no negative rep baggage. In short, no teeth, no consequence to the bad apples, only patting the back of the people who would operate on good faith without it. Doesn't identify the ones you'd want to avoid, because they will avoid this. So again, not very useful.
