Default xbox 1(NOT 360) analog triggers - hacking to analog buttons(arcade stick)?

Ok, so the board in my Street fighter anniversary stick took a dump. A few years back, I put HAPP parts into this, and it's seen scant use since. Ergo, I'd like to put in a new board so I can continue to use it. I was just wondering if anyone had any information on hacking the triggers. I know it's easy with dreamcast, but i have no fucking clue how to deal with the XBOX. Any info is appreciated. I've got both a Duke and a type S i can sacrifice, but i'd much rather abuse the Duke.

You're better off installing a Multi-Console Cthulhu board than pad-hacking an Xbox controller. It'll work with a whole host of different consoles in addition to the Xbox/PS2, provided you wire everything up correctly.
See the Tech Talk section on the shoryuken.com forums for more help.

    yeah, that'd work if:
    1) i didn't have a sfa casing with happ controls in it, and a xbox pad, already
    2) i had more than one console
    3) I was looking for a solution other than the one I asked for.
I will however check the srk boards for anything pertaining to what i actually want to know.
