    Default Best Cable for GC/N64/SNES?

I'm looking for the best cable to use with my older Nintendo systems. I'm guessing that s-video is the way to go but I wanted to check with everyone here before I make a purchase. I'll be using it on a 27" Sony Wega flat screen tube TV. The TV has component, s-video, and of course composite. If anyone has any experience with site that is reliable to order something from, that would be helpful as well.

    Thanks!

I use a Monster S-Video cable for GameCube which I bought on eBay. It has much better shielding than the generic cables I used to use, resulting in a slightly cleaner picture.

Awesome, thanks! I figured as much but I didn't know if anyone else had any input that I hadn't thought of.

    Default Component

Use the component cables for the Gamecube though they can be hard to find plus you will have to have a gamecube that has the digital out. Rest of the other consoles you can use a YUV to Component Converter and use Scart (RGB) cables

The Monster s-video cable works great with all 3 systems, and actually sells for dirt cheap now since the connector is obsolete.

Yep, tossing in another recommendation for that Monster S-Video. It has served me well.

And another recommendation for the Monster S-Video cable, the signal is clear and noise free on the SNES,N64 & Gamecube. A guy on eBay has a deal for 6 of them for only $34.99. http://cgi.ebay.com/6-NEW-Monster-S-...item1e61c70f44

Also if you ever get the Gamecube Component cable, the monster cable serves as a great audio cable.
