I shipped this item almost two weeks ago. I just entered the tracking number on the USPS' website and it says it left the country on the 29th - and that's it! It doesn't say it has been delivered yet! It doesn't even say if it's arrived at Italy!

What the hell's going on? D:

Actually, the USPS is completely fucked up.

If I enter the EMS tracking code, it says it left the country on the 29th.

If I enter the customs form code, it says it was deilvered on the 5th.

Why. The fuck. Does the EMS tracking code not say this?

This guy probzbly thinks the tracking does not work. However, you originally stated that one of the codes did indeed state it was delivered, correct? What does it say, exactly?

Not only that, but it was to Italy, which I heard is a haven for fraud.

I hope this turns out well in the end. I would tell the buyer that the item was indeed delivered and give the exact shipping status. And also say that an investigation with the federal fraud agency will be executed to identify where the package is.

You know, to scare the shit out of the buyer in case he/she was attempting a scam.

Kitsune, did you insure the package for the complete value? If anything bad happens, you can file an insurance claim. At least that way you won't technically loose the money.

I would definitely see what's up, but I would keep the buyer informed as well. At least that way the buyer knows that the seller is checking with customs and shit, so he may lay off if he is trying to extort.

THAT says the item was delivered in Italy on April 5, 2011.

Right now I'm thinking that someone at the guy's post office simply never delivered the thing and it's sitting at his post office for some goddamned reason.

I went to my local post office and the poor clerk was confused as hell! She spent ten minutes looking around and found nothing online. And as usual... the postmaster isn't in. They told me to wait until Monday, since he's going to have to "make some calls" and that dick doesn't work tomorrow. BUT, they also told me that I can call him around 4 PM to see what's up.

So I'm calling at 4 PM TO SEE WHAT'S UP.

I'm also sending a message to the buyer and request that he go pound some doors at his local post office to get some answers.

What the heck are you talking about? Priority Label? That's an Express Mail code from an Express Mail label.

He asked me about the item this morning - he sent a "Where's my item?" question via eBay.
